Peanut Butter Cornflake Bars
This was one of the recipes I found when looking for the elusive Cornflake Cookie Recipe. This one is very good... So I'll just get right to it!
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4-5 c. cornflakes
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
FROSTING:
1 (6 oz.) melted chocolate chips
Bring syrup and sugar just to a boil. Remove from heat and add other ingredients. Spread into waxed paper lined small cookie sheet. Melt chocolate chips and spread on bars. Refrigerate. Cut into squares when frosting has hardened."
